Rashid Khan has been a revelation in World cricket ever since he took centre stage in the IPL last season. His trickery with the ball has baffled many batsmen all around the globe, but his biggest achievement would be getting through the defences of brilliant players of spin like Kohli and Dhoni.

Rashid was a an important cog in that SRH wheel this year as well as he stifled the batsmen during the middle over and made it count in the field and with the bat as well.

But his biggest achievement is what he is doing with the Afghanistan Cricket and how he is putting a war-stricken country on the world map with his cricket.

In the recently concluded series against Bangladesh, Rashid Khan took his country to a series whitewash almost single-handedly, as the Bangladesh batsmen had absolutely no answer to his wiley leg spinners and googlies.

Rashid’s next assignment would be the one -off Test against India at Bangalore. The historic occasion would see Rashid Khan and Afghanistan play their first ever Test match.

However, Virat Kohli will not be playing the historic test following a neck injury that he suffered during IPL 2018.

In a recent interview with Cricket Soccer Rashid Khan spoke about how it would be to bowl to Virat Kohli in Tests. He also admitted that Virat Kohli is the best batsman in the world right now.

“I would love to bowl to him [Kohli] in Test cricket as well. He is the best batsman right now in the world. [But] I think there are lots of other [world-class] batsmen in the [Indian] line-up.

“I would love to bowl to him. I think taking his wicket is something else but you know just bowling to him is a dream of every player, every bowler. I don’t’ think that such a player will come again to this world. So, I should consider myself a little bit unlucky not to bowl to him.” Rashid Khan said.
