WATCH : Ashwin knocks over Quinton de Kock

Hardik Pandya is on a roll right now, as the all-rounder sparked a wonderful fight back from India in the final session of the first day.

Markram and Amla were the stars for South Africa today, as the two batsmen threatened to take the game away from India. After a scratchy start, Amla started to find some form, as the great South African got into his stride.

But Pandya ran Amla out after a super human effort, as he swiveled and hit the stumps at the non-striker’s end all in one motion.

Amla was caught surprised, as the great Hash had to head to the pavilion.

Ashwin, who has been brilliant the entire day, dismissed Quinton de Kock of his very first delivery, as Kohli took a sharp catch at first slip.

Kohli’s delight was for everyone to see, as the Indian skipper wheeled off in celebration. Soon after that, Vernon Philander was run-out after a terrible misunderstanding with du Plessis, as the all-rounder was stranded much to the delight of the Indians.
