The fourth ODI between India and South Africa looks to be heading for a close finish, as the hosts are putting on a determined display, as they look set to maintain their perfect record in pink ODIs.

India reached 289 on the back of Shikhar Dhawan’s brilliant hundred. Playing in his 100th match, Dhawan scored freely as he continued his great form in the series.

While he did not score a big one in the previous three matches, Dhawan did not waste this opportunity as he went on to convert this into three figures.

In reply, South Africa lost Markram early on, but consolidated through Duminy and Amla after the rain interruption. Kuldeep Yadav though changed everything, as the leg-spinner as he picked up two quick wickets to dismiss both Duminy and Amla.

Yadav enticed Amla in to a lofted drive, as the batsman did not get the connection that he wanted.

Then Bhuvi took over, as the bowler completed a superb catch. He first caught the ball at the ropes, then let go off the ball as he touched the rope, only to catch it again in side the field to complete a brilliant catch.

South Africa knew that they had their talisman, AB de Villiers back in their side again. AB played a short cameo, in which he smashed 36 off 18 deliveries to bring the run-rate down for his team.

But Hardik Pandya got the crucial wicket, as AB swept the ball straight to Rohit Sharma who was positioned perfectly at the boundary.

AB’s wicket swung the game in India;s favour, and seemingly had the match in the bag when Chahal bowled Miller.

But the replays showed that Chahal had overstepped, as Miller got a reprieve. The left-hander then smashed Pandya for three fours in his next over, as Miller made his intentions pretty clear form then on in.
