Cristiano Ronaldo reaction to VAR: Here’s how the Portuguese forward reacted to a referral during the game against Roma.
Juventus are on the top of Serie A at the moment. The side is yet to lose a game in the league this season, and have dropped points in only game. As a result, Juventus are 8 points ahead of second-placed Napoli.
Cristiano Ronaldo joined Juventus in the summer and has enjoyed his time in Turin so far. The Portuguese forward became the fastest to score 10 goals across all competitions for Juventus in their history, and has played a key role in their campaign so far.
Juventus have also reached the round of 16 of the Champions League, topping the group against the likes of Manchester United and Valencia.
The side registered a narrow win over Roma, who have had an underwhelming season so far, in their Serie A match last weekend. Mario Mandzukic’s goal in the first half made the sole difference in the game.
A new footage has now emerged from the match, which shows Cristiano Ronaldo taking a deep interest in a video referral.
Cristiano Ronaldo reaction to VAR:
The referee went to the screen to check over Douglas Costa’s goal against Roma. While all the players stayed at their positions on the pitch, Ronaldo followed the referee until the touchline, and took a keen interest in the video footage being played on the screen.
Ronaldo Assist for Douglas Costa's goal was ruled out after VAR confirmed there was a foul in midfield on Roma's midfielder by Matuidi who then misplace a pass into Juventus half that led to the counter attack for the goal#VAR #JuveRoma #SerieA

The referee eventually disallowed the goal, as the video showed that Blaise Matuidi had committed a foul in the build-up to it.

Cristiano Ronaldo, in the later stages of the game, was fuming with himself after he missed two great opportunities to double the lead for Juventus. However, Mandzukic’s first-half goal was enough to secure three points for the side.
Cristiano Ronaldo tried his best to put pressure on the referee in Juventus' win over Roma, by standing at the touchline and staring at the official as he consulted the VAR screen.

VAR correctly rules out Juventus’ second goal. Costa doesn't have his first for the season and Ronaldo's assisted is chalked off.
VAR – doing it's job.

Thoughts from todays game:
– I don't understand VAR
– Love Ronaldo's heart, always puts in 100%. He deserves a rest
– This is Mandzukic's Juve
-Midfield is really looking tired.

The VAR ruling against Juve wasn’t well studied by the referee,Roma player was fouled but took few step after the foul and the referee allowed it without stopping the game which means advantage was given .but jiki jiki after Ronaldo assist then its a foul mxm fok!🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
