IPL 2019 Theme Song released: The theme song for the 12th season of the Indian Premier League was made public in the evening.

The much-awaited theme song for the 12th season of the Indian Premier League has been released now. With IPL 2019 slated to begin in less than three weeks, the same was being looked forward to by the fans and all the stakeholders.

The IPL 2019 theme song was released on the official Twitter account of broadcaster Star Sports. Since them making the song public, it has been well-accepted by fans and cricketers with full gusto.

The 90-second video witnesses several top Indian cricketers including Virat Kohli, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and others in a brilliantly thought-out concept-based video. “#GameBanayegaName” is the online campaign for the same. With the video revolving around the same, it augurs well for the overall good of the theme song.

It is worth mentioning that IPL 2019 is slated to commence on March 23. The season opener will be played between defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

The IPL 2019 schedule announcement had comprised of fixtures of only the first 17 matches. As recent as yesterday, BCCI Acting Secretary Amitabh Choudhary had disclosed that the rest of the schedule will be disclosed after the release of the election schedule.

While all other franchise will play four matches in the first leg, RCB and Delhi Capitals will be seen playing an extra match than their counterparts. Bangalore will play their extra match away. Whereas, Capitals will be seen hosting a third match in this slab.
