Liverpool welcomes arch-rivals Everton to Anfield for the 3rd round of the FA Cup, the world’s oldest cup competition.
The Merseyside derby has always been one with controversies, with emotions running high between players, managers and the fans.
Another one of those controversial moments took place at Anfield today, when Lallana went to ground fairly easily, after being touched/tackled by Holgate in the Everton penalty box.
The referee decided that the contact was good enough, and awarded Liverpool with the penalty. Milner stepped up to take the penalty and cooly placed it in the centre of the goal, dinking the ball just over Pickford’s legs, who had dived towards his left.

Liverpool currently lead and Klopp would be hoping that they can add to their slender lead in order to close out the game in comfortable fashion.
