Callum Hudson-Odoi provides a brilliant assist for Olivier Giroud in his first ever Premier League start for Chelsea against Brighton and Hove Albion.
Hudson-Odoi showed Maurizio Sarri why he deserves a place in the starting XI with a brilliant assist to Olivier Giroud earlier tonight.
Chelsea made a slow start to the game but soon found the rhythm against Brighton at the Stamford Bridge. The side was finally rewarded minutes before halftime when Eden Hazard found Callum Hudson-Odoi with a pass down the wing.
The English youngster cheekily crossed the ball for Olivier Giroud, and the Frenchman made no mistake in putting it past the keeper to give Chelsea the lead.
With the side at 1-0 by the end of halftime, Chelsea are currently at fourth in the Premier League, as the game between Tottenham and Crystal Palace is still without a goal.

The English youngster had been making substitute appearances for Chelsea for quite some time, but Maurizio Sarri earlier stated in the press conference ahead of the game that Hudson-Odoi could make his first PL start against Brighton.
Owing to a hectic schedule, the player was finally rewarded with an opportunity, and Hudson-Odoi has been lethal in the attack so far.
