Kevin Durant has been in the headlines for a lot of wrong reasons this season, with his altercation with Draymond Green leading the way for the Warriors man.

And while both KD and Draymond have tried to downplay their altercation, confirming that the team was focussed on winning another championship, rather than letting a small fight derail their title ambitions.

But, despite what they say, KD seems a bit rattled, something that was quite visible from his behaviour during the game against Dallas Mavericks.

With a court side fan yelling stuff about KD and his altercation with Draymond, KD was quick to let the fan know what he felt about it.

He went up to the fan and asked him ‘shut the fk up and watch the fking game’.

KD was fined $25000 for how he reacted and when told about his fine, he explained exactly what the problem with few of these vocal fans was.

“More fans should understand what that means,” said Durant.

“Grown men can’t come to the game and heckle grown men. That’s corny. That’s weak.

“You come to the game to heckle another grown man — ‘you soft, you weak. Draymond this, Draymond that’ — You’re gonna sleep as a grown man doing that to another person?” he added.

Now, KD has constantly said that the fight with Draymond has been blown out of proportions and it is not something that really has a bearing on his free agency next summer.

He has also emphasised on how the entire controversy has made him look at basketball games differently, with him having to prepare answers for the media.

“After the game against Atlanta [the night after the incident], I’m like, ‘I need to talk after the game?’’’ Durant said as quoted by Yahoo sports.

“During the game, I’m like, ‘Ah, [expletive], I’m probably going to have to say something about this.’ Why do I have to think about that during the basketball game? And that’s a fight I had to have, focusing on just playing. …

“And that’s what I tend to focus on, but you’ve got so much B.S. that’s being thrown your way that I didn’t create. If I created all of this stuff, then I couldn’t be out here talking like this, but I didn’t create any of this. I’m just out here playing.” he added.

KD feels that the entire media hoopalh around the incident has created more distractions for him and his team and that is something that affects him, as he wants to solely concentrate on playing basketball and how he can help GSW secure another title.

“My whole thing is I didn’t create any of this,” he explained.

“That’s just my whole thing. I was just playing basketball. Now, I got to answer questions, now I got to talk about this, now I got to feel a way when I was in a great zone playing basketball. … Now, it’s always going to come back. Like, ‘Are they all right? Man, he didn’t play well. Is he going to leave?’ Why do I even have to think about that at this point? … Then it turned into, ‘K.D.’s going to this place, he doesn’t like the Warriors no more. He should go here, he should go there.’ More distractions.” he concluded.
