WATCH: Kulwant Khejroliya breaks Wasim Jaffer's bat into two pieces in Ranji Trophy

Kulwant Khejroliya breaks Wasim Jaffer’s bat: The veteran batsman’s bat broke into two clear pieces at the Feroz Shah Kotla.

During the third day of the ongoing 86th season of the Ranji Trophy between Delhi and Vidarbha in Delhi, Delhi fast bowler Kulwant Khejroliya broke veteran Vidarbha batsman Wasim Jaffer’s bat into two pieces.

It all happened on the penultimate delivery of the 38th over when Jaffer merely guided and not hit a Khejroliya delivery on the leg-side for a single.

Been constantly changing his bats for a while, Jaffer once again had to call for a new bat as the one in his hand was of no use any more.

Coming in to bat at No. 3 in the 20th over, Jaffer played well for his 40 (71) with the help of four fours. It is worth mentioning that the 41-year old batsman had registered his 90th First-class half-century in the first innings.

A much better performance in the second innings has seen the visitors taking their lead in vicinity of 200 runs at the time of writing this article.

With Ganesh Satish and Akshay Wadkar batting in the middle, Vidarbha would be looking to score at least 100-125 runs before declaring their innings. Delhi fast bowler Ishant Sharma getting ruled out from the match is further working well for the opposition.
