During the 43rd match of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup between Pakistan and Bangladesh at The Lord’s Cricket Ground, Pakistan’s batting all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez bowled a rare yet hilarious loopy full toss down the leg side of the batsman. who absolutely creams the bread and butter shot for a boundary.

It all happened on the final delivery of the third over. Pakistan had put up a formidable total of 315/9 on the board after the allotted 50 overs, after their skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed had decided to bat first.
Pakistan had decided to open the bowling attack with the off-spin services of Hafeez, who started off with a brilliant maiden.
But, out of the Blue, in his second over, he bowled one of the most easiest delivery that an International batsman would ever face in his life.
The ball went even above the camera frame!
Gripping the new ball is never easy for a spinner, especially if you are a part-time spinner like Hafeez, who is not used to bowl with the new white cherry. This is exactly what happened with the 38-year-old as the ball slipped out of his hand at the point of delivery.
As a consequence, the ball turned out to be the juiciest of all the full tosses Soumya Sarkar would have ever played in his life. Sarkar too, could not have led this once in a lifetime opportunity go in vein and advanced way down towards the bowler down his leg-side and pummelled it towards the mid-wicket region for a boundary.
Hafeez has been super consistent in his mode of dismissal throughout the World Cup.

What was more hilarious is the fact that the umpire had no idea where the ball had gone after it left Hafeez’s hand, as he was seen ducking for cover with both his hands covering his head. Moreover, Sarfaraz standing behind the stumps sensed it as an opportunity, as the ball just went to the right of the fielder stationed at deep square-leg.
