Former India captain and current wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni was recently seen as welcoming all-rounder Hardik Pandya to a new ‘family’. The duo appeared together in a commercial for Star Sports where Dhoni welcomed Pandya to the Star family.
It is the second time that both of them have appeared together in a Star commercial. They were seen together sitting on a tree and conversing in Bihari a few days ago.
The common factor between both the commercials is them being thoroughly liked by fans of Indian cricket. Watch the full video below:

The upcoming ODI leg of India’s tour of Australia will witness both the players playing for India after a halt. While Dhoni last played in the fifth ODI against West Indies on November 1, Pandya is yet to play at the highest level after sustaining an injury during the Asia Cup in September.
With both of them being an integral part of India’s ODIs side, the team management would be hoping for them to find form ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. With their first ODI of the year to be played on January 12, India have 13 ODIs to be played before the World Cup.

Pant has now scored more runs (350) in seven innings in this series than Virat Kohli (282) and has scored more runs in Australia than MS Dhoni did across his Test career (311). At 21 years old Pant is the youngest player on either team in this series. What a talent. #AUSvIND
