MS Dhoni meets a special fan: The Indian wicket-keeper was seen taking out time to meet a fan ahead of the fifth ODI.

The demigod-like stature which the Indian cricketers enjoy often sees them in the middle of some of the most passionate fans. Having said that, there is also no hiding to the fact that it is these players which have taken Indian cricket to a position which it is today.

Over the years, the baton of super-stardom has swiftly moved from Sachin Tendulkar to Mahendra Singh Dhoni to Virat Kohli, all of whom have been often seen doing adorable things for their fans.

One of the recent incidents of a cricketer doing something special for a fan has come from former India captain and current wicket-keeper batsman Dhoni ahead of the fifth and final ODI of the series at Thiruvananthapuram.

As the Indian team was making preparations to travel to the Greenfield International Stadium today, a request was made to him regarding meeting a fan who was waiting outside the team hotel.

Not letting his fan down, Dhoni agreed to make a public appearance as he was seen walking down to the fan, shaking hands with him and signing an autograph for him. Dhoni’s sweet gesture would have made the day of his beloved fan.

It is these situations which highly of a public figure like Dhoni for he is as good an individual in personal life and he is on the cricket field. Watch the full video below:

In which will be Dhoni’s last international match of 2018, Dhoni would be looking to end it on a high, chiefly with the bat in hand for this hasn’t been the best of years for the 37-year old cricketer. Talking of feats, Dhoni needs only one run to complete 10,000 runs for India.
