Former Indian captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is currently enjoying his time off from cricket, while the Indian team is sweating it out in the second Test match at Lord’s Cricket Ground in a five-match Test series against England.

Dhoni has the luxury of involving himself into new and fun-filled activities given that he no longer plays the longest format of the game, having stepped down nearly three years back.

The Ranchi-born cricketer retired from Test cricket in 2014 and stepped down as India’s limited-overs captain in 2017. He has received a lot of flak for his batting of late but the Indian stalwart remains a highly popular figure in the cricketing circuit.

MS Dhoni is enjoying his time off from cricket and has posted a video of him taking a rejuvenating bath in a waterfall near Ranchi. In the video, Dhoni seems to be having a wonderful experience, feeling the thrill of water spraying on his head.

It appears from the caption that Mahi became nostalgic after relieving his old memories of taking a bath in the waterfalls around Ranchi in his early years.

In the ODI series in England, Dhoni played two innings, scoring 37 off 59 balls and 42 off 66 balls in both the ODIs which India ended up on the losing side. He became the fourth Indian and 12th batsmen overall to score 10,000 runs in ODIs.

Whereas in the T20 series which India went on to win 2-1, in the second match, Dhoni’s knock of 32 off 24 balls helped India win the game.

MS Dhoni will be next seen in action in limited overs cricket in the Asia Cup, which starts from 15 September in the UAE.

The Indian test team on the other hand has a talk on its hands as they prepare to battle it out against England on Day 4 of the Lord’s test today
