WATCH: MS Dhoni pulls of lightning quick stumping to dismiss AB de Villiers
MS Dhoni has had a great tournament with the bat, dishing out some brilliant lower order innings, but fans haven’t been treated to those lightning quick stumpings for some time now.
Dhoni’s quick hands did make an appearance today though, as he swept off the bails in a flash to send AB de Villiers back to the pavilion.
The incident took place in the 8th over when Harbhajan Singh was operating. Bhajji had just dropped an easy return catch off Parthiv Patel, as he was a little slow in getting down.
But he then bowled a well crafted off spinner on leg stump, that spun a little away, and ABD who was trying to attempt a reverse-sweep, fell over a little bit and Dhoni, nonchalantly, whipped the bails off.

CSK erupted in joy as both Kohli and ABD were sent back to the pavilion of successive overs after Jadeja went past Kohli’s defences in the 7th over.
The RCB camp looked distraught after the wicket as three of their best batsmen were back in the dugout before the 9th over.
Match Scenario:
CSK have pegged RCB right back and are currently 68-3 after 10 overs. The surface doesn’t quite have a lot of demons in it, but does seem to be on the slower side.
For RCB to put a respectable total on board, Mandeep Singh, Parthiv Patel and CDG will have to string a strong partnership together.
Only a score in excess of 170 would suffice as this pitch could ease out when the lights come out.
