New Zealand have arrived in Pakistan to play a Test match series for the first time in over two decades, as international Cricket in the country is high up and running in a full-fledged manner.

Both the sides will take on each other in a two-match series, the first match of which will begin tomorrow (Monday) onwards at the National Stadium in Karachi.
The Black Caps will begin a new era in the format under the leadership of fast bowler Tim Southee, with the experienced Kane Williamson having retired as their Test captain a few days ago.

Team Pakistan, on the other hand, are presently going through some ‘not so good times’ in the format. Skipper Babar Azam’s place as the skipper of the side has been a huge talking point amongst the fans, after the side got whitewashed for the first side at home in Tests, at the hands of England 0-3 a few days ago.
Moreover, following the drubbing, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also sacked their chairman Ramiz Raja and chief selector Muhammad Wasim, with the interim chief selector now also handed the charge to have a final say in the team’s playing XI.
