WATCH: Navdeep Saini bowls pinpoint yorker to dismiss Roston Chase in Cuttack

Navdeep Saini bowls pinpoint yorker: The debutant Indian fast bowler bowled a brilliant delivery to dismiss the West Indian all-rounder.

During the third ODI of the ongoing West Indies tour of India in Cuttack, debutant India fast bowler Navdeep Saini bowled a pinpoint yorker to dismiss West Indies all-rounder Roston Chase.

It all happened on the third delivery of the 32nd over when Chase had no answer whatsoever to Saini’s delivery. The batsman getting late in bringing his bat down further didn’t work in his favour.

Saini, who was included for this ODI as a replacement for the injured Deepak Chahar, was introduced into the attack as a first-change bowler in the seventh over.

It was on the second delivery of the 32nd over when Saini dismissed West Indies batsman Shimron Hetmyer (37) to pick his maiden ODI wicket. The right-arm bowler induced a pull from the set West Indian batsman.

Chase, who was promoted up the order at No. 3 in place of Hetmyer, ended up scoring 38 (48) with the help of three fours. Despite him playing a fairly good, there was a lot of criticism with respect to him batting in the position of the in-form Hetmyer.

It was India captain Virat Kohli who won the toss and invited the visitors in to bat in the decider. While Saini replacing Chahar was the lone change for the hosts, West Indies have fielded an unchanged XI for this match.
