Emiliano Sala, who completed a move from Nantes to Cardiff City earlier this week is yet to be found after his helicopter is reportedly said to be submerged along with the pilot.

It is a very sad incident to see a man chasing his dream to disappearing in the middle of the sea. The whole world has been pouring in messages for the Cardiff City record signing who supposed to train with the team from Tuesday.

During the game against Strasbourg, PSG supporters started to sing the 28-year-old Argentine’s name as the whole world waits for a miracle to see him back safe again.

The former Nantes striker flew back to France to bid adieu to his teammates and in the way of coming back to England, he went missing over the Channel Islands.

In a Whatsapp voice message, Sala has told what he has been doing throughout the day. He also added that he did not feel comfortable with the helicopter he has boarded.

“Hey guys, how is it going? Brother, I am really tired now,” he said in Spanish.

“I was over in Nantes sorting things out, doing this, doing that. I am now aboard a plan that seems like it is falling to pieces. I’m going to Cardiff now, crazy, and tomorrow we get going [sic]. I will train with my new team tomorrow.”

Following on from that message, the former Nantes star sent another note to his friends a little bit later.

“How are you guys, all good?” he said.

“If you do not have any more news from [me] in an hour and a half, I don’t know if they need to send someone to find me. I am getting scared!”

Upon the news, Cardiff City expressed their distress on the situation and added that they would be hoping for positive news soon or rather than later. The Chairman Mehmet Dalman also said that they made arrangements for the Argentine to use the club’s assistance, but the player rejected that approach.

Supporters of Nantes gathered at the city center in Nantes City Centre, to lay tulips at the foot of the fountain. The whole yellow army and footballing fraternity are hoping for a miracle to see Sala again.

Guernsey Police are proactively searching for any trace of Emiliano Sala, but they have not been able to find him as per the reports from today morning which read

“We are commencing a coastal search using be Channel Islands Air Search plane of Burhou, the Casquets, Alderney, the north coast of the Cherbourg Peninsula, north coast of Jersey and then back over Sark. Further information released when available.”
