While off-spinner Nathan Lyon won the Male Test Player of the Year, all-rounder Marcus Stoinis won the Male One-Day International Player of the Year and all-rounder Glenn Maxwell won the Male T20 International Player of the Year.
The award function witnessed Australia fast bowler Peter Siddle in a contrasting role, that of an anchor who was welcoming and interviewing his fellow teammates. It is worth mentioning that the arrival of Australia leg-spinner Adam Zampa ended up becoming a hilarious sight.
Walking the carpet with his fiancee Harriet Palmer, Zampa was donning a scarf tie with his coat for the event. Highlighting the same, Siddle asked Zampa if he was running late or whether this was his dressing style. Watch the full video below:

Zampa was not the only cricketer to be pointed out for his dressing sense. Fast bowler Andrew Tye, who was wearing a beaded tie, disclosed that he had bought it from South Africa during a previous visit. After the tie, the focus went on his blue socks which were matching the colour of his partner’s dress. Watch the full video below:
