Rishabh Pant alerts MS Dhoni for IPL 2019

Rishabh Pant alerts MS Dhoni for IPL 2019: The rookie Indian wicket-keeper warned the veteran cricketers ahead of IPL 2019.

The 12th season of the Indian Premier League is only a month away now. On the 23rd of next month, India will relish the commencement of the biggest sports league in the country.

A few days ago, BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) announced that the fixtures will be released in parts. With the first part of the schedule being released the same day, it has come as a respite for the plentiful stakeholders and fans of the cash-rich league.

Citing the same, broadcaster Star Sports has created ad advertisement regarding the wicket-keeper batsman-duo of Rishabh Pant and Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The 30-second video starts with Pant expressing his admiration for the veteran cricketer in Dhoni.

Pant alerts Dhoni

Claiming him to be an idol, Pant goes on to say that it is time to perform in front of the idol now. In what seems more like a warning for Dhoni, it will be interesting to see how Pant performs in the matches against Chennai Super Kings.

“Mahi bhai na guru ke samaan hai. Agar Mahi bhai nahin hote na, to pata nahin main wicket-keeper batsman hota ya nahin hota. Lekin iss baari unki team par main aisa barsoonga ki captain cool, cool nahin rahenge. Mahi bhai, taiyaar rehna. Game dikhaane aa raha hun

“(MS Dhoni is like a teacher. Without him, I’m not sure if I would have been a wicket-keeper batsman. But, I will perform against his team in such a way that Captain cool will not remain cool anymore. Be prepared Mahi bhai, I’m coming to show you my game),” Pant is heard as saying in the video.
