You may be the topmost ranked tennis player in the world but that does not mean you can get a free pass anywhere in the world.
As Rafael Nadal learnt yesterday, clearly there are security guards who do not know him and quite frankly cannot be bothered by the great Spaniard.
As Nadal was trying to enter in Players Lounge in the Paris Bercy, a security guard stopped Nadal and asked him for verification.
‘Good afternoon sir. Do you have ID Card?’ ‘I don’t have it here’, Nadal replied.
‘Who are you’, security guard said. ‘Rafael Nadal.’ ‘Okay thank you’.
And only then does he lets Nadal enter.

Nadal himself was clearly amused as he finally met someone who did run after a selfie or an autograph.
The Spaniard has had an unbelievable 2017, where in he won two Grand Slams and also regained the world number one ranking. The legendary tennis player also won his tenth French Open earlier this year, a record that may never be broken!
