Shahid Afridi reacts on India wearing camouflage caps: Former Pakistani captain was asked the question during a presser.
During the third ODI of the ongoing Australia’s tour of India at Ranchi, the Indian cricket team had donned camouflage caps as a sign of tribute to the martyred soldiers during the unfortunate Pulwama attacks which happened last month.

“The Army cap is to pay respect to the martyrs of the Pulwama attack and their families. We have decided to donate our match fees to the National Defence Fund,” India captain Virat Kohli was quoted as saying during the toss.
The Indian cricket team’s gesture was considered as an incident of mixing sport and politics in Pakistan. A couple of ministers in the nation had voiced their opinion regarding the same and demanded the International Cricket Council to interfere.

In a reply to Pakistan’s concerns, ICC had recently released a statement which mentioned that the Indian team had asked for permission before wearing the caps in Ranchi.
“The BCCI sought permission from the ICC to wear the caps as part of a fundraising drive and in memory of fallen soldiers who have died, which was granted,” ICC General Manager Strategic Communications Claire Furlong said in a statement.
Shahid Afridi addresses the media
Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi, who is currently playing the Pakistan Super League, was asked to share his opinion on the same in a recent press conference. However, it was at this point in time that Multan Sultans team manager Nadeem Khan had interfered in between and suggested the press reporters to ask PSL-related questions.
In the meanwhile, Afridi ended up giving a hilarious response to the question. “Caps pehni to utaar bi deen (They wore the caps but took them off as well),” Afridi was quoted as saying. Watch the full video below:
