The second edition of the Global Canada T20 league 2019 has got off to a blistering start. With all matches being played at a relatively smaller CAA Centre Ground in Brampton, the batsmen have been enjoying an absolute run fest in the tournament so far.
Moreover, with a majority of Indian and Pakistan origin players partaking in the league, and with the ever amplified stump mics installed in modern day Cricket, players communicating in the Hindi or Urdu dialects can be picked up easily by the viewers.

One such incident happened during the 6th match of the ongoing season between Edmonton Royals and Brampton Wolves.
Brampton Wolves’ star all-rounder Shahid Afridi played a scintillating knock of 81* off mere 40 deliveries, with the help of 10 fours and 5 mammoth sixes.
Afridi finishes his innings with a hilarious comment
The former Pakistan legend’s quickfire innings powered the Wolves’ innings to a total of 207/5 after 20 overs. But, perhaps the most entertaining part of the innings arrived on the final ball, which the 39-year-old hit straight down the long-off fence for a single.
Being the last ball of the innings, the Pakistan pacer at the other end- Wahab Riaz asked Afridi whether he wishes to come back for the second run. To which the all-rounder hilariously replied- “Who’ll bowl in the second innings?”
“Lala doosra run lena hai kya? (Lala should we take a second run?)” Wahab asked, to which the former Pakistan captain replied, “Pagal hai. Bowling kaun karega? (Are you crazy? Who will bowl then?)”
Afridi was eventually adjudged ‘Man of the Match’ for his fine knock which eventually led his team to a 27- run win. He also picked up the wicket of Mohammad Hafeez, while giving away 31 runs in 3 overs.
