Sohail Khan grabs Mohammad Shahzad

Sohail Khan grabs Mohammad Shahzad: The Pakistani bowler was seen grabbing the Afghani batsman by his waist.

During the sixth match of the ongoing T10 League at Sharjah, Pakistan fast bowler Sohail Khan was seen grabbing Afghani wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Shahzad by his waist after he got him out cheaply.

The humorous scenes were visible after the end of the first over of the match. After conceding a six off the second ball of the over, Shahzad missed the next three deliveries which were brilliantly bowled by Sohail.

In a bid to up the ante on the last delivery of the over, Shahzad played a desperate shot. With minimal timing on the shot, it saw the ball went up in the air to Pakhtoons’ captain Shahid Afridi at mid-wicket. The tame dismissal saw Shahzad getting out on 6 (6).

Having scored a hard-hitting 74* (16) against Sindhis during the tournament opener at the same venue, Shahzad would have disappointed the spectators who were present there to watch his batting. Post dismissing Shahzad, Sohail went up to him and grabbed him by his waist, albeit in a chuckling manner. Watch the full video below:

After Afridi put Rajputs in to bat, they ended up scoring 121-3 in 10 overs on the back of their captain Brendon McCullum scoring 58 (29) with the help of three fours and six sixes. Pakhtoons’ opening batsman Andre Fletcher’s whirlwind innings saw his team sealing the chase with a couple of balls to spare. Fletcher ended up scoring 68* (27) with the help of six fours and five sixes.
