Vettel had signed a pre-contract with Mercedes for 2018

Sebastian Vettel failed to put up a stiff fight against Mercedes this season, despite arguably having the fastest car for a major part of the season, but against those Mercedes caps, Vettel is standing firm.

He sees one, and he knocks it away(not talking about the cars he has collided with).

A video last night had surfaced about Vettel taking a picture with a young fan who had the Mercedes cap on.

Vettel agreed to take a photo with the young fan, but first ensured that he had the Ferrari attire on and not the Mercedes one.

He took off the kids’ cap, took off his own Ferrari cap and gave it to the kid to wear.

The video immediately went viral on social media, with a lot of fans commending Vettel for his brilliant sense of humour and for treating that young kid with so much respect.

Now, another video of Vettel’s has resurfaced on social media where he is once again seen taking the Mercedes cap off a fan who tries to take a selfie with him.

The fan can’t stop laughing as Vettel walks away, looking into the camera.

Fans have commended Vettel for his brilliant attitude, despite losing out on the championship.

Vettel has been a gentleman all through the season, staying strong during tough situations and not letting his failures get to him in any sort of bad behaviour outside of the track.

He hasn’t been on the money all through the season, but the way he has conducted himself despite all the criticism is heartening to see.

Hopefully he can launch a stronger title challenge next year and end this year on a high with a win in Abu Dhabi.

And if he doesn’t win the championship next time round, at least he knows how to ace the ‘capchionship’.

Do you think Vettel and Ferrari can take the attack to Mercedes next year or will they this time find it tough to even beat Red Bull, who seem to be on the rise in the last few races?
