Kohli emphasizes on game in new IPL 2019 advertisement

Kohli emphasizes on game in new IPL 2019 advertisement: The RCB captain is seen with a bunch of young children in the ad.

Indian Premier League franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has recently appeared in an advertisement for broadcaster Star Sports. With the 12th season of the IPL beginning in less than two weeks now, it is the best time to bang the drums regarding the tournament.

In what is an apt build-up video before the league, Kohli is seen alongside several young children highlighting the official hashtag of IPL 2019 in “#GameBanayegaName”. The video was a couple of hours ago on the official Twitter account of the Star Sports.

Earlier, Kohli, Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma and other cricketers had appeared in the official theme song of IPL 2019.

It is worth mentioning that IPL 2019 is slated to commence on March 23. The season opener will be played between defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

The IPL 2019 schedule announcement had comprised of fixtures of only the first 17 matches. In a recent media interaction, BCCI Acting Secretary Amitabh Choudhary was quoted as saying that the rest of the schedule will be disclosed after the release of the General Election schedule.

With the election dates being confirmed yesterday, fans can expect the full schedule to be made public in the days to come.

The current schedule will witness all franchises (barring RCB and Delhi Capitals) playing four matches in the first leg. RCB and DC will be seen playing an extra match than their counterparts. While Bangalore will play their extra match away, Delhi will be seen hosting a third match in this slab.
