Team India’s recent dominance in world cricket has been a sight to see. While they will face bigger tests when they travel outside the sub-continent, India’s form at home has been frighteningly good.
India have swatted away the challenges of Australia, England and Bangladesh over the last year and will now face New Zealand in a few days time.
In the mean time, Virat Kohli will lead a group of cricketers in a football match against some high profile Bollywood celebrities in a charity match in Mumbai.
Also known as the Celebrity Classico, this is a fixture that contains some of the biggest names in cricket and Bollywood as the likes of Kohli, Dhoni, Ranbir Kapoor and Varun Dhawan will be a part of the match.
Last year’s match was a huge success, as both teams played out an entertaining 1-1 match. Kohli said that his team are very excited for this year’s match and have spent a lot of time practicing ahead of the fixture.
