Mousa Dembele-Sergio Ramos fight

Mousa Dembele-Sergio Ramos fight: As he leaves Tottenham, here’s a throwback to when Dembele showed the world how to handle Sergio Ramos.

Mousa Dembele has left Tottenham Hotspur. The transfer was officially announced earlier this week, with the midfielder joining Chinese Super League side Guangzhou R&F.

The Belgian footballer joined Tottenham in 2012 and has been one of the mainstays in the first team ever since.

However, he suffered with an ankle ligament injury in November last year which ruled him out for the rest of the season. The game against Wolves turned out to be his last appearance for the club.

Dembele left Tottenham with 250 appearances, scoring 10 goals.

As the midfielder leaves for China, here’s a quick throwback to how he dealt with Real Madrid’s captain Sergio Ramos in one of the Champions League game in 2017.

How Dembele handled Sergio Ramos:

Tottenham played Real Madrid in the Champions League group stage in 2017, gaining a famous 3-1 victory at Wembley.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side played emphatically for the win, with Dele Alli bagging a brace while Christian Eriksen scoring as well.

However, the match was well remembered by Dembele’s insane approach to deal with Real Madrid’s defender and captain, Sergio Ramos.

After Ramos punched Dembele in the chest, the Belgian midfielder returned fire with fire as he kicked Ramos to the ground while attempting to retrieve the ball.

Here’s the video:

Justifiably, the tackle was well remembered by Tottenham’s fans as Dembele transfer was officially announced.
