The FIFA World Cup begins on 14th June, and the final will take place on 15th July.

A total of 64 fixtures will be played in FIFA World Cup, with hosts Russia playing the first game of the tournament against Saudi Arabia. As with every world cup, 32 teams are divided into 8 groups, and the top two teams will qualify for the knockout rounds.

A round of 16 will be followed by quarterfinals, and the semifinals and final will eventually follow.

Germany will look to defend the title, whereas Brazil will aim at regaining the lost pride after a horrible 7-1 semifinal defeat against the Germans.
