Recently released WWE Superstar expresses desire to be the next Rock. The former WWE Star will feature in an upcoming Hollywood film.

A lot of young wrestlers see Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as the epitome of Wrestling Business. Not only did he go on to become one of the greatest in the industry, he transcended it by conquering Hollywood. It is no wonder many of the current wrestlers aspire to be like him.

Dean Muhtadi, known to fans as Mojo Rawley is no different. The former 24/7 Champion is not letting a WWE release get in the way of his aspirations. Rawley is set to appear in the upcoming film ‘Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins’ and hopes that it will lead him to a similar success in Hollywood.

Recently released WWE Superstar Mojo Rawley expresses desire to be the next Rock

Speaking to TMZ Sports, Rawley revealed that he hoped to follow in the footsteps of the People’s Champion.

“I would say a good percentage of professional wrestlers, maybe 69% to be exact, wanna be The Rock by the time it’s all said and done.”

Rawley also spoke about his experince of being in a movie and looked forward to more of it in the future.

“It was such a cool experience. I’m looking forward to more in the future.”


Rawley was released by the WWE on April 15. He is a 7 time WWE 24/7 Champion. He also won the 2017 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins is scheduled for a theatrical release in the United States on July 23, 2021.

It was originally scheduled for release on March 27, 2020. However, the Pandemic forced several postponements before it was finally recheduled to the aforementioned date.
