Paige hints at a WWE in-ring return

“Can you let me in yet coach?” – Paige hints at a WWE in-ring return. The former Divas Champion last wrestled all the way back in December 2016.

Paige is one of the most popular figures in the WWE. Her unique presence and charisma made her stand out during her early days and she seemed to be destined for superstardom. An unfortunate neck injury back in December 2016 however, cut her career short by eventually forcing her to retire.

“Recycled pic. But.. Spent the last 2 years of my in ring career with this neck brace. 6 screws and 2 fusions later.. my neck feels wonderful. Can you let me in yet coach?” She captioned a picture of herself on Twitter.

WWE Superstar Edge, who was also forced to retire, made a return to the WWE as a performer this year at the Royal Rumble. Paige had then tweeted: “Coolest thing ever. Gives people hope!”

“I think it is always a possibility one day, you can never say never,” Paige told Inside The Ropes in an interview back in March. “It’s not going to be any time soon. That’s mostly all I can say about it, it’s really hard because I just had a neck surgery in August. My neck is just getting healthier quicker the second time around which is crazy. I feel absolutely fantastic. We’ll see where it goes.”

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
