Real reason why WWE have not taken any action against Jimmy Uso after DUI arrest

Real reason why WWE have not taken any action against Jimmy Uso after DUI arrest. Despite being arrested he was featured heavily on SmackDown.

Jimmy Uso was arrested on a DUI charge last Monday night in Pensacola, Florida. He was stopped by police for running a red light while also speeding. Jimmy went on to fail sobriety tests and ended up spending a night in jail before getting bailed out the next morning.

This is his second arrest for a DUI in the last two years. It is even more disappointing when you consider that he only recently returned from injury. Initial reports suggested that some higher-ups were “extremely disappointed and legitimately pissed off.”  The WWE however, are yet to take any action against him so far.

Not only have the WWE not punished Jimmy but they also featured him all through the recent episode of SmackDown. According to Dave Meltzer on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, this is because the Uso are deemed too important to the plans they have in mind for a potential Wrestlemania angle between Roman Reigns and The Rock.

“There is stuff in the plans that they feel is far too important and they don’t want it screwed up and that’s the answer. You would think, third [DUI], bad look — gotta pretend it didn’t happen.”

SmackDown ended on Friday with Edge laying out both Jey and Jimmy Uso while Roman Reigns watched from the ramp.

Next year’s WrestleMania is on April 3 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. WrestleMania 39 will take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on April 2, 2023.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
