Survivor Series 2021 venue reportedly revealed

Survivor Series 2021 venue reportedly revealed. The last of the Big Four Pay Per View was held at the ThunderDome last year.

The Survivor Series is part of the “Big Four” events produced by WWE. Along with WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, and SummerSlam, as it is one of the original four pay-per-views created by the promotion. It is also the second longest running pay-per-view event in history (behind WWE’s own WrestleMania).

Naturally, it is one of the most anticipated events of the year. The event is marked by its signature Survivor Series elimination tag team match and in recent years, it has focussed on the brand rivalry between RAW and SmackDown (Save for 2019 when NXT was added to the mix).

Survivor Series 2021 venue reportedly revealed

Survivor Series is usually held at arenas that pack large crowds for an event of such magnitude. Due to the pandemic last year, the pay per view was held at the ThunderDome.

With the return of fans, Survivor Series will once again be held in an arena that can house a massive audience.

According to Andrew Zarian, that arena will be the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York as per current plans.

“Tentative plans for Survivor Series location is Barclays Center in Brooklyn NY.”

The Barclays Center has hosted several major PPV’s in the past including SummerSlam 2018. Given the reception the fans gave that event, the WWE is in for a hot crowd if Survivor Series does take place at the Barclays Center this year.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
