Lana is the Sole Survivor at WWE Survivor Series 2020!

Lana is the Sole Survivor at WWE Survivor Series 2020! She was the last woman standing at the RAW vs SmackDown Women’s Survivor Series tag match.

If the Men’s Survivor Series tag match was about RAW winning without losing even one competitor, the Women’s match was about the only competitor to make it to the end. You’d be laughed at if you’d tell people you had your money on Lana and somehow that is exactly what happened.

Lana is your sole survivor and she did it without raising her arms even once. That isn’t entirely true. She did raise her arms once to tag herself in before she was tagged out by Nia Jax, berated by the Women’s tag team champions and made to stand on the ring steps for the rest of the match.

Like the men’s match, SmackDown lost their biggest name as the first elimination of the match. Shockingly, it was Peyton Royce and not either of the tag champs who sent Bayley packing. Natalya evened the numbers after forcing Peyton to tap out to her sharpshooter.

Natalya herself was taken out shortly after with a women’s right by Lacey Evans. Down to four vs three, Baszler looked to trim SmackDown to two with a Kirifuda clutch on Ruby Riott. Riott managed to get on top for a pin but the referee failed to notice due to Nia’s interference.

Riott would eventually choke out and was eliminated from the match. A livid Liv Morgan took Evans out with a crucifix bomb before a Samoan drop by Nia took her out. Belair tried to break the pin but Baszler prevented her from doing so.

Down to three vs one, Belair tried her to best to pick the win for SmackDown. However, Baszler looked to rain on her parade with the Kirifuda clutch. Belair dragged her body over the rope but Baszler refused to let go, leading to her elimination.

Jax then cleared the announce table in an attempt to put Belair through it but the EST of WWE pushed her to the steel steps.  Jax and Belair continued to fight outside the ring before Jax was thrown over the barricade.

Belair attempted to get back in the ring before the 10-count but she failed to reach in time resulting in both her’s and Jax’s elimination. This meant that Lana, who spent much of her match outside the ring, was the last woman standing.

The score is now in RAW’s favor at 3-2 heading into the main event of Roman Reigns vs Drew McIntyre.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
