The Miz becomes Mr. Money in the Bank once again on WWE RAW

The Miz becomes Mr. Money in the Bank once again on WWE RAW. The A-Lister had seemingly failed to cash in at WWE TLC.

What was once a star maker, the Money in the Bank is now seen by many as a burden the WWE do not know how to manage anymore. Since 2016, there have only been two successful cash ins. Before 2016, there were only two failed cash ins!

That number has since doubled with Baron Corbin and Braun Strowman failing in the last few years. With the contract in Otis’ grip, many believed the case would wound up the same this time too. Instead, however, The Miz successfully sued Otis for the title giving hope to many that this time it would definitely yield a championship to its holder.

Unfortunately, the Miz cashed the contract in a losing effort against Drew McIntyre at WWE TLC. Why take it off Otis if the cash in was going to fail anyway, many asked. It seems the WWE have had a change of heart of some sorts as the A-Lister was handed the contract on tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW.

Last week, The Miz explained that his cash in should not be counted because it was John Morrison who technically cashed the contract in. What seemed like a heel excuse at the time however, has now been used as a legitimate reason by the WWE for Miz to retrieve his money in the bank briefcase.

Does this mean that the WWE want to make Miz their next WWE champion? Or were they made aware of their increasing failure rate of their recent cash ins? There is no word on the matter at the moment, this however, gives hope that all is not lost for the once prestigious contract.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
