WWE SmackDown 7th August 2020 Live Streaming and Preview. The road to SummerSlam has been laid and the upcoming episode is expected to continue it.
Last week’s episode of SmackDown ended with one of the best ever cliffhangers in the WWE. Not only was Fiend’s attack on Alexa Bliss refreshing but it also adds a new dimension to his feud with the Universal Champion, Braun Strowman.

Two other non-wrestling segments in ‘The Dirt Sheet’ and another episode of ‘Firefly Fun House’ have also been advertised on the blue brand. Sonya Deville is set to feature in the former while the latter could set up the return of Strowman, who is yet to be seen since Extreme Rules.

Bray Wyatt has been feuding with Braun Strowman since the former Wyatt Family member who won the Universal Championship at Wrestlemania. Despite the rich history between them, it seems that Wyatt has only learned of Strowman’s weakness, his affection for former tag partner Alexa Bliss, when Sister Abigail took her form to lure the Monster among men in the lake. He used that knowledge to attack her at the conclusion of last week’s show.

Matt Riddle, who was jumped by Chad Gable last week will surprisingly face Sheamus instead of the man who attacked him. Regardless, the quality of both men in the ring will surely make for an excellent television match,

Riddle’s rival King Corbin will take on the man Sheamus very recently feuded with: Jeff Hardy. Corbin insulted the Charismatic Enigma while making his way into the ring and it looks like the veteran is out to teach the King how to be humble.

Sonya Deville who brutally attacked Mandy Rose on last week’s episode will join The Miz and John Morrison where she is likely to discuss her attack on one-time best friend and former tag team partner Mandy Rose.
Apart from these advertised segments, expect to see Sasha Banks and Bayley; especially considering the latter is yet to have a storyline rival heading into SummerSlam after back to back victories over Nikki Cross at Extreme Rules and SmackDown.
Big E’s progress as a singles wrestler will also continue. Could he be AJ Styles’ next opponent for the Intercontinental title at the biggest show of the summer?
Last but not the least, the SmackDown tag team Champions Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro are yet to have opponents heading into the second biggest show of the year. Every credible face side is out of injury and the remaining are heels. The promotion are running out of time to build credible opponents for their new tag team Champions.
