Tony Khan buy WWE

With Vince McMahon back in the picture, Right Now, everyone seems to be concerned about the future of WWE. Some initial reports claimed Saudi Arabia’s PIF has indeed purchased the billion-dollar company. Though the news ended up being untrue, with Ariel Helwani later suggesting otherwise. Now, an old but new name is being thrown into the mix, and it’s none other than the AEW President. A recent report by CNBC asserted that Tony Khan might buy Vince McMahon’s WWE.

According to the report, The Khans are open to the idea of purchasing WWE. In fact, they are willing to discuss a potential role for Vince McMahon after a sale. Though as of now, no such talk has happened between the two parties.

Wrestling expressed their honest feelings about ‘Tony Khan open to buy WWE’

WrestlingInc’s Raj Giri took to Twitter and shared CNBC’s report about The Khans buying WWE. Well, fans stormed the comment section with their views. Diehard AEW fans went on to express their joy if that whole thing turns out to be true.

While some fans were happy about the report, many seemed skeptical about the purchase. In fact, a user questioned whether Tony Khan can buy WWE. He mentioned WWE’s deal with FOX and shared his doubts about the purchase.

Some fans mocked the whole idea and joked about Vince McMahon commentating on AEW Rampage.

However, a common belief on social media was that Tony Khan will not buy WWE.

Vince McMahon has been dragged to court for the way he has misused his voting power

As strange as it sounds to hear, there’s a lot more happening in WWE other than Vince’s return. Within days of McMahon returning to the WWE board, Stephanie stepped down from the role of Co-CEO and Chairwoman. Then the news of the company getting sold to PIF came out which has disproved later.

Not just that, a WWE shareholder went on to file a class action lawsuit against McMahon. He accused the 77-year-old wrestling tycoon of misusing his voting power to force back himself into power.

Technically, Mr. McMahon does have 81% voting control of WWE, and he can do whatever ever wishes to. One might question his actions, however, he indeed has the power to do whatever is happening right now.

Nevertheless, there are reports that even Stephanie and Triple H were not okay with McMahon wanting to sell WWE. Although as of now, no deal has been made, if that happens, who knows, Tony Khan might buy WWE.
