Yannick Carrasco to Man Utd: Manchester United are preparing a stunning move for winger Yannick Carrasco.

Manchester United are currently 6th in the Premier League. The side has been impressive ever since the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as United are yet to drop points in the four games under his charge.

United have scored 14 goals in four games so far since Solskjaer’s arrival. In his first game as interim manager of the side, Manchester United scored five league goals, which happened for the first time since Sir Alex’s farewell game in 2013.

The side will return to action later this evening as they take on Reading in the FA Cup third round tie.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are also keeping tabs on the January transfer market, and are being linked with a move for Yannick Carrasco.

Yannick Carrasco to Man Utd:

Manchester United have been preparing a move for Yannick Carrasco, according to Foot Mercato.

Carrasco joined Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang last year, but the report suggests that the winger intends to return to European football. He joined the CSL side from Atletico Madrid.

Carrasco is primarily a right winger, which has caught the attention of caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, according to the report.

However, his salary could be an issue for Manchester United to deal with. The winger currently earns 170,000 euros/week at the Chinese Super League side, and will not settle for less.

Manchester United are not the only club eyeing a signature for the 25 year old Belgian winger. It has been reported that AC Milan are also monitoring his situation in China.

According to Manchester Evening News, Leonardo Jardim, the former Monaco manager, could be appointed the new manager at Dalian Yifang, and might convince Carrasco to stay.
