Lack of game time has troubled Yaya Toure’s last two seasons at Man City under Pep Guardiola.

Yaya Toure’s agent, Dmitry Selyuk has made a sensational claim ahead of the summer transfer window. According to Selyuk, the Ivory Coast international will offer himself to Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Arsenal for just £1-a-week.

Selyuk has claimed that the Ivory Coast international will make this move in order to prove Man City boss Pep Guardiola that he can still perform at the highest level.

Toure’s agent made this sensational claim while talking to Sport 24. “Yaya has many offers from different countries, where they are ready to pay a lot of money, but we decided to dedicate the next season to Guardiola,” said Selyuk.

“And to prove and show the fans of Manchester City that Yaya has not finished with football,” the agent added.

Dmitry Selyuk insisted that Yaya Toure is full of energy and wants to play this season in England.

“I officially declare that Yaya is ready to move as a free agent to any English club of the top six with a salary of one-pound-a-week, but with a bonus system based on certain successes,” said Selyuk.

He believes that a player like Yaya would not reject clubs like Arsenal, United, Chelsea, Tottenham or Liverpool.

Yaya Toure has played under Pep Guardiola during his time at FC Barcelona, and hence had a reunion with him at Manchester City. However, Yaya Toure was hardly used as a first team player at Man City. The Spanish manager decided to build his team around Kevin de Bruyne, which left Yaya Toure watching the match from the sidelines on most occasions.

He played only 10 Premier League games this season.

Earlier, Yaya Toure made a sensational statement about Pep Guardiola, accusing him of racism. “I do not know why but I have the impression that he was jealous, he took me for a rival. As if I made him a little shade. He was cruel to me. I came to wonder if it was not because of my colour,” he said.

“I am not the first to talk about these differences in treatment. In Barca, some have also asked the question. When we realise he often has problems with Africans wherever he goes, I ask myself questions,” Yaya Toure added.
