David de Gea new contract: United goalkeeper set to sign new contract – Report
David de Gea new contract: The Manchester United goalkeeper is set to sign a new contract at the club, according to reports.
Manchester United are currently 6th in the Premier League table. The side will take on Liverpool in a heavy-weight clash at Anfield on Sunday. Jurgen Klopp’s side are the only unbeaten team in the league so far.
The Manchester United board is currently undergoing the process of extending the contracts for players who are in the last year of their deal. After Luke Shaw was given a new deal in the beginning of the season, speculations have been made for new contracts for many club stars like Juan Mata and David de Gea.
While Jose Mourinho has reportedly conveyed to United board about extending Mata and Ander Herrera’s contract, he has publically stated that the club expects De Gea to sign a new deal.
Reports from England now suggest that a new deal is in place for the Spaniard.
David de Gea new contract:
The Spaniard has been one of the best Manchester United players in the recent years. De Gea won the Golden Glove in the Premier League last year. He made a shaky start to the 2018/19 season, but has still shown glimpses of his brilliance.
It has now been reported by English media outlet Sun that United have struck an agreement with de Gea to sign a new deal with the club.

“He is the best goalkeeper in the world and, if our ambitions are to be a big club, to be a winning club, you need the best goalkeeper in the world – and you need also some other players the best in the world.
“In this case, we have the best goalkeeper in the world and I know that he wants to stay.”
£400K per week?
£400,000 PER WEEK?
FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND POUNDS PER WEEK?
For De Gea, a GOALKEEPER?
It’s a disgrace!
It’s disgusting!
How DARE THEY!
It’s obscene!
It’s gross!
It’s utter madness paying him that amount!
Woodward’s lost it!
He’s worth at least double FFS! https://t.co/Icw1b6KViD
