Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Gemimik Shrine

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom stays true to its action-adventure genre. There are a lot of places to explore throughout the Kingdom of Hyrule. Here we will find out everything related to the Gemimik Shrine.

After featuring in Breath of the Wild, shrines made a comeback in Tears of the Kingdom. These small dungeon-like areas are famous for providing fans with Light of Blessing, which Link uses to boost their Heart Container or Stamina Wheel. But to get this crucial in-game item, fans must complete the shrine challenges.

There are multiple shrines throughout the Kingdom of Hyrule. The Gemimik Shrine is one of them. It features a challenging puzzle that fans must complete. This shrine can’t be avoided, as Link will get the legendary Ancient Hero’s Aspect armor after visiting all the shrines in the new Legend of Zelda title.

Gemimik Shrine location in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

There are 152 shrines across the surface and sky islands of the Hyrule Kingdom, making it difficult to find them all. However, the Kudanisar Shrine in the Akkala Highlands region is one of the easily accessible shrines. The exact coordinates of the shrine are 4513, 2116, 0001.

To reach the Gemimik Shrine, Link should travel to the east of the East Akkala Plains. Then they need to go to the center of the spiral-shaped Rist Peninsula to reach this shrine.

How to complete the shrine challenge

The Gemimik Shrine, like every other shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, includes an intriguing side quest for fans to complete. This shrine challenge is known as the “Turbine Power,” which tests Link’s new Ultrahand ability.

Follow these steps to complete this shrine challenge:

  • When Link enters the large room, he should go to the right and grab the fan blade. Using the Ultrahand, attach that blade to the yellow machine in the center of the room to create a makeshift turbine.

  • Link should then proceed to the left and take the metal plate from the corner of the room. Place that plate in the gap to allow electricity to reach the makeshift turbine. This will spin the fan and creates a wind column.
