According to reports, Sir Alex Ferguson wants Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to become permanent manager at Old Trafford.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been brilliant for Manchester United ever since his appointment as the caretaker manager in December.
The Norwegian has won 11 of the 13 games under his charge so far, losing only one.
He steered forward a sinking ship at Old Trafford, rejuvenating the side after the horrors under Jose Mourinho.
The Manchester United side, who carried little expectations when they took the bus to Anfield last time both the sides met, now look upbeat as they host the same team later tonight.
And now, former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has made up his mind over the new permanent boss at Old Trafford.

According to Mirror, the Scottish legend is inclined to continue with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer beyond this season. The English outlet reports that Sir Alex has told those close to him that Solskjaer is the perfect choice for the next Manchester United manager.
The report further claims that Fergie likes the prospect of Solskjaer taking the permanent role for three huge reasons – The former star reinstalled the club’s traditions, he brought back an attacking style of play, and the players don’t look disbanded anymore.
Under Jose Mourinho, all the three conditions failed massively in his third season at Old Trafford.
Sir Alex has had a say in bringing back Mike Phelan to the club. Phelan used to work under Sir Alex but left the side soon after his departure.
The former Manchester United boss is also delighted with the fact that Solskjaer chose to keep Michael Carrick and Mark Dempsey in the coaching staff – both former Manchester United footballers.
Even the players are inclined towards working under Solskjaer. Various United stars, including Ander Herrera, Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard, amongst others, have stated that they would want Solskjaer to become the permanent manager.
I don’t understand why some United fans are slating Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for inviting Sir Alex Ferguson to do a team talk ahead of tomorrow’s game, I don’t have a problem with it at all

The club is currently under the process of recruiting the permanent boss at Old Trafford.
Unless Solskjaer is offered a permanent role, the former Manchester United star would return to Molde.
What next?
Manchester United takes on Liverpool in a high-intensity Premier League game at Old Trafford later tonight.
In the press conference before the game, Solskjaer invited Sir Alex Ferguson to give a team talk before the heavyweight clash.
