India wicket-keeper batsman Sanju Samson gained bountiful goodwill on the back of his performances in the Indian Premier League over the years. In his recent performances for Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Daredevils, Samson impressed one and all as a rookie Indian batsman.

Since making his comeback into the team last year, Samson warmed the bench for quite a while before playing three T20Is in which he returned with scores of 6, 8 and 2.

While Samson’s international performance has been nowhere near the mark, a prosperous IPL season will once again bring him into recognition, at least in the T20I format.
