Former England Skipper Kevin Pietersen has taken a huge dig at Tottenham Hotspur when Virat Kohli posted a photo with Harry Kane on Instagram.

The Indian International and Spurs academy graduate has enjoyed some good conversation on social media in the recent past. They recent met when Virat Kohli was enjoying his holidays in the United Kingdom and enjoyed a snap together. After some months, Harry Kane released the video of him playing cricket with Virat Kohli at the Lords’ Stadium.

When Virat Kohli posted the same, Kevin Pietersen, who supports Chelsea, was not able to resist a dig towards the London arch-rivals.

He commented: “Pls hang out with someone from a proper football club, mate. Spurs are far inferior to the Chelsea legends. Thanks.”

India are currently in England for theirWorld Cup duties, led by Virat Kohli. The Blues have qualified for the Semifinals of the tournament and they could face either New Zealand or England, with Australia and India firmly establishing the top two spots.

Spurs, on the other hand, finished runners-up to Liverpool in the Champions League, but they have had busier transfer window than the other top sides in the Premier League.
