MS Dhoni centuries list: How many centuries of MS Dhoni in all formats for India?
Former Indian captain MS Dhoni has started his preparation for the upcoming IPL 2023 with Chennai Super Kings. A video has been released on social media where Dhoni is seen doing net practice in Chennai Super Kings’ yellow pads on. Dhoni played his last international match in 2019, but he has been a regular in the IPL.
Commonly known as ‘Thala’, MS Dhoni will be leading the CSK in the upcoming season. He stepped down as the captain ahead of the IPL 2022 but was reinstated as the captain of the side midway through the tournament after Ravindra Jadeja’s failures.
Under Dhoni’s captaincy, CSK have won 4 IPL titles in 2009,2010,2018 and 2022. Dhoni was certain that he wants to retire in Chennai, and he will finally get an opportunity to play at MA Chidambaram Stadium this season. The sea of Chennai fans in yellow will be eager to see him play.
Dhoni has scored 4978 IPL runs at 39.20 with the help of 24 half-centuries. He has not been at his best with the bat for the last few seasons now and will be raring go this time around.

MS Dhoni has scored a total of 16 centuries in his international career (10 ODIs and 6 Tests). Dhoni’s first ODI century came in 2005 against Pakistan in Visakhapatnam, whereas his first test century came in 2006 against the same opposition. He scored his last international century in 2017 against England in an ODI match.
