Harbhajan Singh unimpressed with Ben Stokes: Veteran Indian cricketer was seen expressing his disbelief on social media platform Twitter.

Veteran India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has questioned the Cricket World’s Cup gesture of calling England all-rounder Ben Stokes as the ‘Greatest Cricketer of all Time’ ahead of Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar.

It all happened when the official account of Cricket World Cup posted a photo of Stokes and Tendulkar from the post-match presentation ceremony after the final of the recently concluded final match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

Stokes, who was declared the ‘Man of the Match‘ for scoring his 21st ODI half-century in a winning effort, was seen collecting his award from the Master Blaster. “The greatest cricketer of all time – and Sachin Tendulkar,” read the caption on the tweet posted by Cricket World Cup 2019.

Harbhajan Singh unimpressed with Ben Stokes

While the wink after the caption meant that it was meant for fun purpose, the 39-year old cricketer couldn’t resist but retweeted the tweet writing, “Really ?? It should be other way around..,” read the caption on Harbhajan’s tweet.

It is worth mentioning that Harbhajan also congratulated the English all-rounder and expressed happiness for his feat. Had it not been Stokes’ maturity during the business end of the match, things might have been different for England.

Harbhajan, who last played for India during the Asia Cup in 2016, was in England throughout the World Cup as a commentator for Star Sports. This World Cup was also the first time when Tendulkar joined the commentary team alongside former Indian cricketers in Sourav Ganguly, Virender Sehwag and VVS Laxman.
