Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah top-ranked cricketers: The latest addition of the ICC ODI Rankings sees Indian cricketer at the top.
The latest edition of the MRF Tyres ICC Men’s ODI Player Rankings has seen New Zealand captain Kane Williamson achieve career-best 799 rating points. While this happened after his 39th ODI half-century in the semi-final against India, Williamson finished the tournament with 796 points.
Declared the Player of the Tournament in this World Cup, Williamson retained his No. 5 rank in the batsmen’s rankings. Veteran New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor, who was the second-best batsman for New Zealand (350 runs at an average of 38.88 and a strike rate of 75.26 including three half-centuries) in the tourney, dropped to No. 5 in the rankings.
Having scored 443 runs in just eight ODIs at an average of 63.28 and a strike rate of 115.36 in this World Cup, England opening batsman Jason Roy has entered the Top-10 batsmen’s list for the first time.
Engand all-rounder Ben Stokes, who was declared the Man of the Match in the final match last night, has reached the No. 20 position in the batsmen’s list. In 11 ODIs, Stokes had scored 465 runs at an average of 66.42 and a strike rate of 93.18 including five half-centuries.

Chris Woakes and Jofra Archer gain among bowlers
England fast bowling duo of Chris Woakes (16 wickets at an average of 27.87, an economy rate of 5.24 and a strike rate of 31.8) and Jofra Archer (20 wickets at an average of 23.05, an economy rate of 4.57 and a strike rate of 30.2) jumped to No. 7 and No. 29 in the bowlers’ rankings.

New Zealand fast bowler Matt Henry, who dismissed 14 batsmen in nine ODIs at an average of 28, an economy rate of 4.87 and a strike rate of 34.4, has entered the Top 10 list at No. 10.

Coming on the back of a stellar campaign, Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has retained his No. 1 rank in the all-rounder’s list. While Shakib has 406 rating points, Stokes has reached No. 2 with 319 points.

India captain Virat Kohli has retained his No. 1 position in the batsmen’s list. In nine ODIs, Kohli scored 443 runs at an average of 55.37 and a strike rate of 94.05 including five half-centuries. Similarly, India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah (18 wickets at an average of 20.61, an economy rate of 4.41 and a strike rate of 28) is leading the list among the bowlers.
