Harry Maguire Man Utd medical : Manchester United’s record £80 million signing Harry Maguire has arrived in Manchester United for his medical.

Manchester United have recently completed the record breaking signing of Harry Maguire from Leicester City after agreeing £80 million fee to hire the English International’s services, making him the most expensive defender in the history after out-beating Virgil Van Dijk’s price.

Further, according to a claim by Fabrizio Romano, Maguire has arrived at Manchester for his medical ahead of joining his new squad this summer.

The Red Devils’ contingent is returning from its pre-season tour, after winning all the six friendly matches during their tour. Maguire could have been a part of the pre-season tour, but the never ending negotiations between both the clubs brought the transfer on stalemate for a while.

In the end, now Maguire is a Manchester United player, and is expected to be announced by the English giants, soon after his medical is completed.

Manchester United desperately needed a crucial defensive reinforcement, and Maguire seems to suit the requirement, as he has enough experience to thrive in the Premier league.

The Red Devils were lacking a leading figure in the squad, and Maguire’s personality will help Manchester United to fulfill that absence. Even though Manchester United were pursuing the defender for long, but the Foxes were not ready to leave him for any cheaper price.

The English International gained prominence after having a phenomenal World Cup campaign in England in 2018, and making Leicester City increase his price.

With details of personal agreement and jersey number still unknown, it is expected to be announced, once the 26-year-old defender completes all his formalities with the club.

With this one of the longest transfer sagas this summer comes to an end, the new Manchester United signing is set to make his debut for the club in the first game-week of the Premier league.
