Pep Guardiola congratulates Liverpool on winning the Premier League
Pep Guardiola congratulates Liverpool on winning the Premier League after the shambolic defeat against Norwich City last night.
Over the last year or so Manchester City and Liverpool have turned the Premier League into a 2-horse race. The big 4 may have now become the top 6 but such has been their dominance that the other teams are said to be in the top 4 race while only City and Liverpool are seen as genuine title contenders.

The competition is still in its infancy but Liverpool and Manchester City remain the only unbeaten team in the league. That was until yesterday when Norwich blew City away to hand them their first loss since January.

Two goals in 30 minutes gave Norwich hope early on in the game. However, the Canaries were well aware of City’s ability to make a comeback. Aguero’s goal before half-time came as a reminder that the game was far from over.
Minutes after half-time, Norwich took advantage of a defensive lapse to put them 3-1. Last month’s player of the month Teemu Pukki was the man in action this time. City fought back to score another goal but the Canaries held their nerves to carve a memorable victory. One that the fans at Carrow road may never forget.

Liverpool are now at the top of the table with 15 points. Despite the upset at Carrow Road, City are still second on the table with 10 points. They have 3 wins, a draw and a loss. They are then followed by a myriad of teams with 8 points.
Liverpool have looked like the side to beat so far but it is still early days and the table could turn on its heels in the months to come. City though, still look good to go the distance and it will be hardy of any team to take them lightly. However, Norwich have proven to the world, that Guardiola’s men are not as unbeatable as once was thought.
