India vs South Africa weather forecast: How is the weather of Dharamsala today for India vs South Africa 1st T20I at the HPCA Stadium.
India will look to continue their good run after their impressive showing in the West Indies. A series with South Africa at home is an exciting prospect for the fans. However, the match may not happen at all as the downpour refuses to end.

India, hoping to start the series on a positive note, were forced to practice indoors on Saturday as Dharamsala witnessed a bit of rain for the last two days. The India vs South Africa match is doubtful at the moment with the rain still lashing down despite weather forecast predicting the skies to clear by evening.
Absolutely bucketing down in Dharamshala……You've just got to hope it will stop!

The First T20I is scheduled to begin at 7 PM IST. If the rain stops by even 6 pm, the HPCA stadium is equipped with quality drainage facilities to prepare the ground for the encounter between the men in blue and the proteas.
For it to be an official game, there needs to be a minimum of ten overs bowled in the match with both sides playing 5 overs each. A very likely possibility considering the aforementioned facilities. However, at the moment there is no sign of the rain stopping as it continues to pelt down at Dharamsala.

We have to be very focused
India, who stream rolled through a comparatively weaker side in West Indies, would have been looking forward to the series against South Africa as they prepare for the T20 world cup scheduled to begin in October 2020 in Australia.
Indian Skipper Virat Kohli walked out under an umbrella earlier to address the press conference. He stressed on the need for hard work and training; whether team India plays a home series or undertakes an away assignment.
“For us as a home team we need to be absolutely sure of our game plan. The way we prepare for overseas series where we have to be very very focused. It’s the same (for home series). International cricket is about your mindset nowadays.
“Every condition can be home condition if you feel comfortable. I think it’s getting into that frame of mind for us which is very important. That’s why we have been one of the most consistent teams in the last 2-3 years.
