Sheffield United vs Liverpool Line up: How Jurgen Klopp’s Reds could line up on Premier League Match day 7 | Premier League 2019/20
Sheffield United vs Liverpool Line up: Liverpool prepare to resume their Premier League action this weekend against Sheffield United.
Liverpool are involved in an early kick-off on Saturday against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane. The Reds are sitting at the top of the pile after six games into this season, while their opponents are tenth with two victories to boast after gaining promotion to the Premier League.
Chris Wilder’s side lost their last game to Sunderland in the League Cup on Wednesday. However, they have enough quality stacked in their side to cause disruption to their opponents. Additionally, the outstanding tactics have stabilized the whole club, and players are slowly getting into their groove, which could perturb Jurgen Klopp and Co. Following the promotion, the English side have done well to claim two victories, including one against Everton in Goodison Park last week.
The Reds, on the other hand, struggled during the second period against Chelsea, but somehow got over the line to register their sixth consecutive Premier League victory. Jurgen Klopp’s side has been at their best – claiming six victories out of six. It has been a fantastic start to their season and they will be hoping to get the job done to maintain their fantastic run.
Liverpool head into this game as indisputable favourites, although Sheffield’s different style of play could prove awkward for the Reds.
We look at Liverpool’s injury news, suspensions and predicted line up.
INJURY
Alisson Becker has started his on-field training with the goalkeeping coach John Achterberg and could make his comeback after the international break. Nathaniel Clyne will sit out after suffering a knee injury last summer. Striker Divock Origi has started light training and is a 50-50 for this game.
SUSPENSION
There are no suspensions for Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool.
PREDICTED LINEUP
Liverpool: Adrian, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil Van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino.
